The Foundation of BT and our Team
BT was founded and developed by Linda Lee Byrnes, to provide every day people with an opportunity to learn how to trade, regardless of age or location in the World.
"I began learning to day trade in the late 90's and quickly discovered what does and does not work, by trading my own account in different futures markets and with many different indicators and trading strategies. It was an expensive lesson, in both my time and money, but it taught me that education, live market training and practice practice practice, are the keys to long term trading success. I also learned that day trading is high risk and is not for everyone, so I continued my education to learn about other trading styles and markets, which can be lower risk, and which do not require you to be logged in to the live markets on a daily basis."
As a result of over 10 years of education and trading trials and errors, I developed BT (Beyond Traders Private Trading) as a small private trading group for people who want to learn how to day trade with futures or how to trade over a longer period of time (days, weeks or months) using CFDs or Shares.
Our complete education program was developed as a simple, but comprehensive training program which allows you to learn at your own pace and choose the markets which you want to trade and which suit your risk profile and time availability.
I am proud to have developed BT, as a fun and friendly group of people, with one common goal - To learn, not only 'how to trade', but to learn how to 'make money from trading' and to always 'continue to learn from BT and each other'."

Peter Jones
With a background in Financial Planning and IT, Peter lives and breathes trading now. Peter is married with two gorgeous children and lives in the beautiful City of Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia.
Peter's formal qualifications include credits and distinctions in Investment Markets, Financial Advice Principles, Fundamentals of Securities, The Managed Funds Industry, Risk Management and Insurance Products, Financial Planning and Wealth Creation, and Superation Advice and Regulation.
Linda Byrnes
Linda spent the first 10 years of her life saving people's physical lives as an Advanced Life Support Officer and Disaster Emergency Commander with the NSW Ambulance Service. She then changed her occupation as she recognised her need to learn how to invest and trade, to look after her own financial life and hence began her journey of learning how to trade for additional income and invest in property for long term wealth. Linda has over 10 years of experience trading in futures and stocks. Linda is the founder of BT and lives with her baby daughter in Paradise Point, on Queensland's Gold Coast, Australia.
Linda's formal qualifications include a Diploma of Financial Advising, including Foreign Exchange and Derivatives, Risk Management, Investment Planning, Financial Planning and Wealth Creation, Superannuation Advice and Regulation.
Sharon Doodewaard
Sharon is an experienced trader, is trained in Neuro Linguistics Programming and has worked in the Trading Education industry for several years.
